Creating a Background with "Fresh Squeezed"

Happy Monday Kindred fans.

Today I am making another card with the "Fresh Squeezed" stamp set. I am typically a scene builder but my next favorite thing is creating backgrounds with stamped images.

I used Wild Honey Distress Ink to stamp my little lemon slices repeatedly onto a piece of Neenah Solar White card stock. I colored each of the images with my Copic Markers (Y000, Y02, Y08, Y38) and added a few little dots with a white gel pen.

I white heat embossed my sentiment onto a strip of black card stock and popped that up with some foam tape.

For the inside of the card, I took another piece of white card stock and stamped out my lemon wedges with the same ink and used the same Copic colors. I added the rest of my sentiment with black ink.

Last, I layered each panel onto a back A2 size notecard and called this one done.

Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty day!
