Happy Accidents Lift the Flap Shaker Card with Lynnea Hollendonner

Hi, everyone! It's Lynnea Hollendonner and I'm back with another card featuring the Happy Accidents stamp set from Kindred Stamps! This time I made a shaker card with a hidden flap to lift up! It's super fun and I hope you love it!
I started this card as just a simple flap card - but then I thought how cool it would be as a shaker card! I grabbed a flap circle die and die cut it from the top center part of a white panel of cardstock. Then I used masking paper to mask off just the flap itself and blended on some Peacock Feathers Distress Ink over the Long Hair stencil
I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Accidents stamp set and added some watercolored trees to the flap. I also wrote the word "lift" at the bottom of the flap - although I wish I hadn't. I think anyone would have known to lift the flap and I truly dislike my handwriting!
I took a piece of watercolor cardstock the same size as my front die cut panel and stamped and watercolored the character from the Happy Accidents stamp set. I made sure to stamp him so that he would be in the center of the flap. I added a wash of color around him so that the background wouldn't be so plain.
Now for the fun part! I added some acetate behind the die cut panel and some foam tape going around the die cut shape and filled it with the Owl Post shaker pack sequins! These are my FAVORITE sequins from Kindred Stamps and I just used the last of them - so it's time to order more! Haha! I assembled my card and I love how cute it is! You can watch my video below to see just how I created this card!

Thank you so much for watching!
