Introducing our Guest Designers for the September 22th, 2017 Release!

It is with joy that I am introducing you to our next two guest designers! These two designers are among the most talented women I know!

Lois Bak has been wowing us in the card crafting community for some time now. Her designs gather inspiration from the wide variety of the paper crafting world, not to mention her history with other crafts! I am consistently in awe of her coloring and 3-dimensional cards!

Lois

Hi, everyone.  I’m a retired bookkeeper who discovered the world of rubber stamping about 12 years ago.  A crafter much of my life, I had gone through the gamut of arts and crafts – embroidery, counted cross stitch, macramé, ceramics – but that all stopped after I attended a Stampin’ Up party at my friend’s.  As the saying goes:  the rest is history – stamping became my passion.  I love to color and would make a great third grader!  I have been on several design teams in the past and am currently a member of two company teams and one challenge team.  I have been published in several magazines on numerous occasions.  A widow of 14 years, I have three grown children and eight grandchildren.  I discovered Kindred Stamps on Facebook when they released the Galactic Adventure set. Star Wars (and Harry Potter) nerd that I am, I was hooked!

Lois sent us the following examples of work that she is most proud of:

This one is featuring our Travel Through the Stones stamp set!

Next up we would like to introduce you to Marcia Caradinta!

Marcia comes from a nerdy background, and some of her cards most definitely reflect her love of science! Marcia is always complimentary, supportive and sincere. Her friendships are solid and she's always looking out to help a fellow crafter!

Marcia Caradinta

My name is Marcia Caradinta. I am a new stay-at-home mom adjusting to life outside of my old job; I worked overnight in a hospital lab as a medical laboratory scientist for nearly 8 years. (Yes, this is the same as a Medical Technologist but I much prefer the nerdy name update to my profession.) I loved exercising the scientific, analytical side of my brain, but missed having time to explore my more creative side. So that is where The Frolicking Fairy was born. Actually, I wanted to name the entire venture The Farting Gnome. However, upon reflection, that farting little fellow became the alter ego to my sweeter, child-friendly Frolicking Fairy brand and has become its own special collection. I love learning!! And this adventure is such a wonderful journey as I learn new techniques that I can use to help create those pieces that are unique and so fairy special. My goal is to offer you a peek inside my creative process on my Fairy Notes blog and keep you coming back for more with my unique and fun-loving collections! I am super excited to be a member of the Kindred Stamps Guest Design Team! This has been such a wonderful opportunity for myself and the Frolicking Fairy! xo

The following are examples of Marcia's most loved work:

Marcia's creative usage of our Practically Perfect stamp set knocked our socks off!
