You Rock

This week I am sharing an encouragement card, using the Metal Friends stamp set from Kindred Stamps.

I started by creating my background using the stencil from the Space Hero kit I used the star cluster and Fossilized amber distress ink to create a focal point in the center. You could also use the Star Stencil and ink out from the center. Next I randomly stamped the music notes from the You're Purrfect stamp set and colored them in with copic markers. For my metal friend I grab a scrap of white card stock and stamped, colored and fussy cut him out.

I wanted my metal friend to be able to dance so I added him onto my card with a mini action wobble.

For my sentiment label I used clear versamark ink and white embossing powder on black card stock. I popped it up on foam dots and added it just below my metal friend onto my card panel. Placing it there gives my metal friend something to "stand on" and grounds him so he's not just floating on my card.

I picked a yellow top folding A2 card base to match my background stenciling . To finish off the inside I stamped another sentiment from the Metal Friends stamp set with black ink. I hope you enjoyed this card! I will be back soon to share more projects with you
