Happy New Yaargh!!

Hello all! Marcia from The Frolicking Fairy here to wish you a very Happy New YAARGH!! Like many of you, I try to find fun ways to make these amazing images fit into various holidays/themes that are not their expected roles. For this card, that surly pirate from Yo Ho was perfect to exclaim his cheers for the new year. (Don't you think?)

To add some fun interest to the background, I used the Basket Weave Stencil with Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink. I wanted to use beach/sea colors without having to create an actual shoreline. The sentiment was added to the rolled parchment via typewriter (hooray for Christmas presents!). At the time that I completed this card and blog post, Yo Ho was out of stock (I'm so sorry!) but please make sure you add email address to the "Notify Me!" box so you can purchase upon restock.

I can't wait to see all of the fun ways you have come up with for new year's cards!! Until then.. talk like a pirate! xo

I just found this company a few weeks ago and have already placed one order with another one tomorrow after the restocking. Is there any chance of this set coming back? Your card is great!
