Kindred Stamp - Travel to Japan

Travel to Japan is the 7th destination from Kindred Stamps Travel Around the World series available June 1st. I am super excited to introduce you to this set.

How cute is this sumo wrestler? I created this card using Distress Oxide inks to make the fade out sumo ring and to halo the heart behind our loverboy. The partial circle is actually a brush of water used to distress the surface.

The pennants were cut from photo paper that was created using alcohol inks. It adds vibrant color and a fun festive look.

This girl is welcoming you to her homeland. I colored both the girl and sumo with alcohol markers. The back ground for this is card is created with distress inks and distress oxide inks sponge daubed on a piece of photo paper. Using the photo paper give the background a bit of muted sheen.

The kon'nichiwa sign is hand colored with water color brush markers to look like wood and hangs from the branch with some twine.
