Meet this month's Guest Designers!

Hello, Friends!

This month we were lucky enough to have two guest designers who wanted to work with us! One you've seen a lot of as our Guest Designer, one who is new to the process.

Kim requested a stamp set from a certain fandom, and when we wanted a guest designer for that stamp set we randomly chose her to work with it!

My mother-in-law introduced me to card making over a decade ago. It was easy to be inspired by her enthusiasm and generosity. When our daughter was born, I chose to stay home with her but still needed to find a way to help make ends meet. I turned to online sales, which included some of my handmade crafts. It turns out, working for myself at home helps keep the electricity on while I get to enjoy a strict dress policy of leggings all day! It does take some work ethic, but I’m well- suited to the dual lifestyle of working and momming. While I enjoy many aspects of and techniques with papercrafting, my favorite cards create scenes to tell a story and are heavily based in humor (or what I find humorous, anyway). I try to craft cards for audiences who are perhaps underrepresented in the retail world. I live and work in New Hampshire with my husband, daughter, two cats, six goldfish, and a spoiled, one-eyed house rabbit who steals paper scraps even if she knows you’re looking.

And of course, you ALL probably remember Lois! We love to use Lois anytime we have a specific fandom we're working with, and we like to think she's pretty happy with the situation too. ;)

I’m a retired bookkeeper who discovered the world of rubber stamping about 13 years ago.  A crafter much of my life, I had gone through the gamut of arts and crafts – embroidery, counted cross stitch, macramé, ceramics – but that all stopped after I attended a stamping party at my friend’s.  As the saying goes: the rest is history – stamping became my passion. I love to color and would make a great first grader! I have been on several design teams in the past and am currently a member of two company teams and one challenge team – including a couple of guest designer gigs with Kindred Stamps.  I enjoy using different techniques on my cards, both clean-and-simple ones as well as more involved creations. A widow of 15 years, I have three grown children and eight grandchildren.

Looking for powerful advertising that isn’t full of crap? I apologize for sending you this message on your contact form but actually that’s exactly where I wanted to make my point. We can send your ad copy to sites through their contact forms just like you’re receiving this note right now. You can target by keyword or just do mass blasts to websites in the country of your choice. So let’s say you’re looking to blast a message to all the interior decorators in the US, we’ll grab websites for only those and post your advertisement to them. Providing you’re advertising some kind of offer that’s relevant to that business category then you’ll receive an amazing response!
