You're Fantastic!

Hello friends! kel here to share a project with you today!!

Today's project features this nifty dude and his little friend from the Catcher of Beasts stamp set. I also broke out the distress oxide inks and the Distress Brick Stencil from the Kindred Stamps store

I taped it down to a piece of scratch paper using some old washi that I looked at and thought, 'why did I buy that??'... you ever think that about stuff you bought sometimes? Please don't let it be just me!! haha. But I used a combination of Fired Brick, Wild Honey, and Candied Apple to make my background.

After coloring up the nifty dude, I cut him out using my Scan-n-Cut and then placed him at the bottom left corner... really it's because there was a bit of a hole there where I didn't blend out the inks so I wanted to cover it up!

I then stamped out the "you're fantastic" sentiment on a piece of scrap cardstock, the same as the cardstock I was using as the base of my card. I used Versamark Ink and embossed it in a nice pale yellow color.

The last thing I did was to trim down the sentiment strip and tie some twine on the right edge of it. I popped it up with 3d foam.

Super happy with how this came out considering that I usually don't break out the "messy" stuff so I'm a little out of practice with blending!!

Thanks for stopping by and see you again soon! And make sure you come join us over at the Kindred Stamps FB Group to see the amazing makes everyone else is sharing!!

lovies, =o) kel
